Sewing Camp

Class Description

Ages 7+ June 10-12 12:00-3:00 pm Join Lindsey Smith, local mom and artist, for a machine sewing class for ages 7+! This 3 day camp will teach your child to sew their own creation safely and confidently. In this class students will learn the basics of a sewing machine, how to thread, insert bobbin, cutting fabric, and basic sewing terminology. Expect to walk away a beautiful finished project as well as the useful knowledge to continue sewing at home! Machines ARE PROVIDED! If you prefer to use your own machine, that is perfectly fine. Please provide your own fabric. 1 to 2 years of 100% woven cotton. 2 different colors or prints (or 2 yards of 1 color/print) recommended.
