Class Description

K-5th 12:00-1:00 pm August 5 - September 30 *NO CLASS LABOR DAY Join us as we walk through history, viewing and creating artwork inspired by ancient through contemporary times. Each month, students will explore a variety of mediums centered around art historical references. See the monthly themes below: August: Ancient Art History September: Classical Greek/Roman Future sessions: October + November: Renaissance December: Baroque/Rococo/Romantics January: Realistic February + March: Modern April + May: Contemporary At TN Art Yard, we value creative thinking and exploration, which includes learning the artists and processes that came before us. We aim to provide a balanced curriculum of personal exploration and art history in each session. This time is also a great opportunity to create your homeschool community in a relaxed environment.
